Choosing door hardware for an older home can become surprisingly complicated. Different doors may require different latches, locks, hinges, bolts, and other components, and details such as door thickness, stile width, French doors, and existing openings can affect what will work.

With my Door Hardware Concierge Service, I work through your project details and prepare a tailored door hardware schedule so you know what each door requires.

My particular expertise is in Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Federation, interwar and other classic homes, although I also advise on new doors and renovations where traditional hardware is being used.

Simple Upgrade | $165
For projects involving 1–5 internal doors.

Internal Door Project | $345
For projects involving 6–10 internal doors.

Complex Project | $495
For 11 or more doors, or smaller projects involving external doors, multiple pairs of French doors or more complicated hardware requirements.

After purchase, you'll complete a project intake form and provide the additional information, photographs or plans I need. I'll then review your project and prepare recommendations appropriate to the doors, the house, and how the hardware needs to function.

The Concierge fee is credited towards your hardware order when the qualifying spend is reached:

• Simple Upgrade: orders of $1,500 or more
• Internal Door Project: orders of $3,000 or more
• Complex Project: orders of $5,000 or more
