The Antique & Signature Brass Collection

Antique and Signature Brass have deep bronze tones that are achieved by taking a polished brass product and aging it individually by hand. The item is then rubbed back with a soft cloth to lighten the finish; after which it is baked to set. Once baked, a clear lacquer is applied to protect the surface.

Each product in this finish is hand aged, meaning each product has its own distinct variation and depth of colour, reflecting a mix of lighter and darker finishes. Variation in colour and finish can also be the result of a different base material (for example a product made from brass may look quite different to one made from zinc alloy). This unique finish is designed to wear and age naturally over time.
